New investments are added daily at roughly 12:00 CET. Soccer is added on Tuesday's and Friday's while MLB and NBA is daily. If bookmakers are late with posting odds, I will be late as well. NBA totals and odds for are for some games added as late as 16:00 CET meaning that during the winter it might also be an afternoon update.

I only invest in over/under bets. In soccer I recommend investing on either over 2.5 goals or under 2.5 goals. In NBA and MLB I will invest over or under the posted total. There are only two options and the bet will never be refunded unless you hit a push in NBA or MLB. I've found this combination to be the most profitable plays and there are games all year round.
I recommend investments in a unit cycle of 1 or 2. You need to determine the amount of money that you will invest on any any of the units. This can be a an amount or a percentage of your bankroll. Create a plan for your investments. Are you looking for fun this weekend or are you looking to invest for the future? The percentage return should be realistic, not, for example, doubling your money in the next year. you should realize that the time period on which to focus is long, rather than short, term. You should think in terms of years not weeks or months. Stick to your plan and keep emotions and hunches out of your process. SportsProfit is run by taking advantage of trends and stats. Over the course of a season, you will have streaks of losers or, at another time, believe that you cannot miss with your picks. If you are in a losing streak (day, weekend or week), do not not resolve to chasing or changing your units/percentage, increasing the number of units placed on a sports pick, or picking games without understanding why you are selecting one team. This same advice holds true for an "amazing" win streak. An investor is focusing on long term, not immediate, results.
When listing an investments I'm using the highest odds from Oddsportal.com. It can be tricky for all members to get the listed odds, although I highly recommend using the bookmakers with the highest odds. To make a comparison, Sportsbook.com have a payback on baseball listed at 98.72%, Ladbrokes only offers 89.46%. A person betting on 3 games a day at $100, would win $10140 more a year with Sportsbook.com. Oddsquality Baseball - Top is SportsBook.com (98.72%) | Low is Ladbrokes (89.46%) Oddsquality Soccer - Top is PinnacleSports (97.09%) | Low is Interwetten (87.13%) Oddsquality Basketball - Top is PinnacleSports (96.84% | Low is Interwetten (84.81%) A person betting with Ladbrokes or Interwetten would surely miss out on lots or profit. I noted the average odds listed at Oddsportal during the summer of 2010 and a member betting with average bookmakers would have a 3.84% less payback on baseball and 4.59% on soccer. Please note that I'm not posting odds from sportsexchanges such as Betfair as the listed odds fluctuates to much. A person betting with one or more exchanges and the top bookmakers will most likely get even or more profit than I've listed.

My aim is to provide a 110%+ payback over the year, meaning that you will earn a 10% interest on every investment. I recommend joining for 3 months or more to see a full return on your money. Results will always fluctuate and I believe sportsinvesting should focus on the longer term. You receive better value for the money by choosing a progressively longer package. Stick to your plan and hang in there when the tide gets rough. There will always be good and bad times and only the longterm investors will profit.
I will never recommend stakes with exchanges, but encourage using them. The reason for not recommending investments with them is that there is a limited amount available and the odds will fluctuate. You will most likely get higher odds than I recommend at Betfair or Betdaq.
